நாளை பஞ்சாப் மொகாலியில் நடக்க இருக்கும் கிரிக்கெட் போட்டியில் இனப்படுகொலை செய்த இலங்கை நாட்டின் ஆட்டக்காரன் திசாரா என்பவன் விளையாடுகிறான். இதற்கு தமிழ்நாடு மாணவர் பேரவை கடும் கண்டனத்தை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. இலங்கை ஆட்டக்காரனை இந்தியாவிற்குள் விளையாட அனுமதிக்காதே என்று கோரிக்கை வைத்துள்ளனர். மீறினால் மாணவர்கள் கிரிக்கெட் வாரியத்தை எதிர்த்து போராட்டம் செய்ய இருப்பதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

During the student’s upsurge in Tamilnadu (March 2013), we petitioned to the state govt. requesting, to boycott the Srilankan cricket players playing IPL cricket matches in India. Our Honourable Chief Minister action made the BCCI to withdraw the Srilakan players, playing IPL cricket matches in Tamilnadu. Presently the Srilankan players are included in the Champions League cricket match, which was against the sentiments of the Tamil people.

We strongly condemn this act of BCCI for including the Srilankan players in this champions league. On behalf of the GTO Youth I, V.Prabhakaran urge the Indian Govt to send back the Srilankan players from India, as a mark of protest for the genocide committed by the Srilankan Govt and for the above said reasons in order to get justice for the affected Tamil community. GTO youth has already called for Boycott Srilanka campaingn, which includes and not limited to Boycott of Cultural, Sports, Commerce, Trade and Diplomatic relationship until the affected Tamil get their long due justice,

Failing to send the Srilankan Players back to Srilanka, GTO Youth will spearhead it protest in various forms until the players are sent back to Srilanka..
